Dan Wesson & CZ for Shot ‘26

This project was completed for Shot Show 2026, for Dan Wesson & CZ.

Highlighted are the Dan Wesson DWX, and the CZ Shadow 2 Orange.

This project drives home the importance of having the actual firearms in hand to reference both during the artwork phase, and the mold design phase. Both pistols have grip textures, and contour lines that would be impossible to fully wrap your head around. During the mold phase, my manufacturer had mis-interpreted the texture on both firearms, and admittedly, if I had not been proactively reviewing the mold against the physical grips, I likely would have missed that they had inverted the texture.

The other side of that coin is I was able to color match both vibrant grips to my Pantone book, ensuring that when the patches were delivered to Shot Show - there was zero chance our colors would be off next to the real life pistols.

Screen printing was used to pull through microscopic details on the Trijicon SRO featured on both pistols, along with brand-appropriate fonts for laser engravings featured on the slide, frame, and barrel.

If you’re looking to add high quality, technically accurate PVC patches of your firearm - or quite literally any other product in your lineup - to your brand collateral, head on over to the Trade Show Patch page and fill out the inquiry form, and grab time on my calendar! I’d love to see if there’s room in your marketing budget to make some magic!
